Natural rattan makes for beautiful looking products but has a major downside which is splitting issue in the future. Normal PE WICKER or PVC WICKER will look good when its new, but the life cycle is very short, even if you put them in under cover areas. Taste Furniture is different. Our durable outdoor furniture is made using RAUCORD, a premium grade material by REHAU®, that requires no maintenance and can live outside all year!
The material is manufactured using renowned German engineering know-how and production technology. REHAU has been active in polymer processing since 1948 and is one of the pioneers indesigning and supplying all-weather rattan with more than seven years of experience in this field.

Sunbrella fabrics are durable and easy to clean
High performance, UV stabalized pigments are added during the production of fade-resistant Sunbrella fibre, giving
Sunbrella yarn and fabric color throughout that won’t fade or wash away. Think “carrot".
In ordinary fabrics, dyes are added to the surface of the yarn or fabric. The color only penetrates the outer layer
and washes out or fades away over time. Think “radish".

Recycled Teak Legs Reclaimed from warehouse buildings and construction materials, old houses and railways. Teak is a close grained and oil-rich hardwood, it is especially stable in its recycled form. Recycled teak is truly unique in character with every piece having variations. Colour differences, knots, small cracks, grain and colour variations, climatic and soil conditions are a result of natural growth and all impact on the finished product, air drying and evidence of a past use which may include but not limited to nail, bolt holes and uneven surfaces. Highly skilled workers manually hand grade the wood and produce the optional rough bushed or smooth finish that gives our teak that special patina.
